The Thread is a five-channel video-installation. It shows five different persons who show different emotions
and try to freeze like a still image. Every single person is staged with the same camera movement, framing, perspective, background and lighting.
Its a reflection on the relation between body language and mental representation. On the other hand its about the relation of  analogue cinematographic technology (16 mm shooting footage) and digital videographic technology (DVD video-installation).
The video beamers are starting with a delay and generate different recombinations of the projection.
